AVA's current President Andrew Ward has been selected for the stand-to veteran leadership program (VLP) Class of 2021, from the George W. Bush Presidential Center and Institute.

Today, the George W. Bush Institute announced the 2021 class selected to participate in the Stand-To Veteran Leadership Program, a first-of-its-kind initiative aimed at individuals serving our nation's veterans who are motivated to broaden their skillsets, knowledge, and influence across the country.

The Stand-To VLP program will be a five-month commitment, which will commence in June and conclude in October. Throughout the Stand-To Veteran Leadership Program, the participants will hear from a variety of nationally known and distinguished professionals, educators, and experts in veteran and military family transition issues. The Bush Institute is committed to ensuring that leaders from across the country can participate in this program at no cost. Andrew's tuition, housing, meals, and travel during the modules are fully funded by generous contributions from program partners and funders.
