NMAM honors current and former members of the U.S. Armed Forces, including those who have died in the pursuit of freedom.
The pursuit of freedom
The pursuit of freedom is never easy, nor does it come at zero cost.
Sometimes the cost is human life. Sometimes the cost is physical or mental health...or both.
From all of us here at Acadiana Veteran Alliance, we want our main message for veterans to be clear: there's support for you. There's help for you; right here in Acadiana.
A Better Health Program
We will soon formally announce our HEAL Program, A Better Health Program to Combat PTSD.
Our objective is to help veterans suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder absolve or reduce their symptoms to increase daily functioning and improve overall quality of life. The focus is to combine the utilization of SGB with traditional therapies, by clinical therapists with expertise in trauma and veteran treatment to achieve long-term resolution of post-trauma symptoms.
We're humbly calling out to our community to help support this effort.
What's the goal?
Our goal is too raise $75,000 by Memorial Day.
What would the goal support?
The goal would help us save the lives of 50 veterans.
These veterans are your community members who sacrificed everything so that you can enjoy the freedoms that you hold so dear; this last year has been a stark reminder of how precious our freedoms are.
We intend on updating the public regularly how close we are to reaching our goal, being transparent, and rallying for our effort the whole month through.
